Autoimmune diseases are where the body’s immune system anti-bodies attack the body’s own healthy tissue. They are on the rise, and medically often much isn’t known about why they occur how they manifest, and their connection to each other and other health conditions. But there is a connection, and often people develop multiple auto-immune diseases, as is the case with me.
What is being realised is that people can manage their conditions and heal themselves through a wholesome plant-based diet, and so many are doing so. This may be a complete reduction in symptoms, or an improvement (see Deliciously Ella for her story, also Kristy at Keeping it Kind and Ella at Pure Ella, and they are some of many. The recipes on this site support this healing process, and will help you towards that healthy goal. I live with multiple autoimmune conditions and associated health issues and I am using my specialist diet to improve my health. Already I have achieved reduced pain and greater quality of life. My health is very complex, many have seen far greater results and are able to live normal lives! Something worth trying for!
